I have decided to buy an American Fender Stratocaster after  buying an inexpensive used Mexican Strat. I liked its body/neck balance and its variation in tones. Sadly, the neck buzzed.

American Strats vary in cost based on price.

-1- Custom Shop – made to order with premium parts – $3,500 to $8,000
-2- Mod Shop – reduced selection of  premium parts – $1750 to $2,200.
-3- Standard Models – $1,200 to $2,000

I selected the Fender Mod Shop, but the online purchasing wizard is short in many details, requiring research. I have documented my research so that I could understand what I was buying. I hope you can use my research to buy your own Mod Shop Strat.
