My selection of a short list of potential guitars to buy is based on rosewood fretboards from acoustic experience and vintage tall frets and medium jumbo based on electrics, which I have owned. I also prefer guitar bodies which reveal their grain.

I have named each short listed guitar. Old Red and Old Toby, though new, both have necks from the 1960’s and pickups from the 1950’s. Rosie is named after her rosewood neck. The Roasted Rooster is named after his roasted neck.
